Most DPF cleaning systems are designed to clean modular canister style filters typically found on heavy trucks and are much more accessible for cleaning. However, many DPFs such as those on cars are in a sealed housing with a small diameter exhaust tubing that prevents access to the inlet or outlet surfaces of the filter, making it difficult or impossible to clean. In these instances, the DPF must be cut open to be cleaned before being welded back together, or otherwise, the DPF is replaced, costing thousands of dollars.
We can effectively clean any configuration of diesel particulate filter without needing to cut or modify. Instead, we simply connect the appropriate fitting.
